Frequently Asked Questions

What Happened to KardiaMusic.org?

What Is the Purpose of Kardia Music?

For the first few years, the website existed as kardiamusic.org.  In 2026, the website was transferred to kardiamusic.com and upgraded.

How Can I Help?

We need volunteer music transcribers (.pdf to .xml). Please email kardiamusic@protonmail.com if you are interested.

To encourage local church musicians who are trying to obey God. To promote worshipping God in the beauty of holiness. To promote research and knowledge of music theory and function based on the harmonic series.  To promote reverence toward God in music. To provide affordable resources and services for sacred musicians. To reconnect gospel-believing churches with their musical heritage.

What Happened to the Kardia Music Journal?

I want to buy printed music; why are only sheet music downloads available?

I am looking for recorded hymn arrangements to listen to.  Why do you not sell these?

I arrange hymns and compose music.  How can I get my music on this website?

Email kardiamusic@protonmail.com.  1. Send a sample of your work as a .pdf or .xml attachment.  2. If the music is appropriate and matches our stated goals,  we will offer it as  a free download. 3. You will retain copyright to your work.

The Journal was published from 2020 through the end of 2024. It was a unique publication, well-received, and useful to many church musicians.  Financially, Kardia Music could not sustain the countless hours of work necessary to continue publishing the Journal.

As soon as possible, we will provide printed music for sale.

Our main services right now are research and free hymn arrangement scores.

What Denomination is Kardia Music?

KM is not denomination-based.  Gospel-believing churches  (2 Corinthians 5:18-21) since the time of the New Testament have been singing hymns. That is our heritage.
